Melbourne Dynamo FC lit up their first match under the new floodlights with a radiant 5–0 win over Mickleover FC Reserves. The evening carried a spark of ceremony, the kind that makes a routine fixture feel a little larger, a little louder, a little more alive.
Dynamo spread the goals among Simpkins, Goodband, Withers, Muir and Nixon, each one adding another bright stroke to a dominant performance. From the first whistle, the team moved with the confidence of a side enjoying its own rhythm, weaving pressure and intent through every phase of play.
