With 11 players unavailable Melbourne Dyanmo Reserves made the trip to Codnor Minors in the Derbyshire Junior Cup 1st round {the same team that knocked them out of the same competition at the round of 16 stage last season. Trailing 2-0 with 30 mins to go dynamo fought back with goals from Dominic Saniera and Vinny Hallifield. The gam ewent into extra time which saw no further goals, which meant the dreaded penalties, Steve Byram and Dominic Saniera missed for dynamo which meant Codnor went through 4-1 on pens.
