Many thanks for your interest in our club; below is the information you need to know about who we are and what we do.

Melbourne Dynamo Soccer School - The Club runs football coaching sessions on Saturday mornings for children in Reception and Year 1.

The sessions are aimed at children with any of the following aims:

• Who want to try football for the first time.
• Who want to learn how to develop their football skills.
• Who want to just play football with their friends in a safe environment and have fun.

Training takes place each Saturday between 10:30am and 11:30am. The sessions are led by FA qualified coaches who possess all the relevant safeguarding children and DBS registrations and are held on our all-weather pitch at Melbourne Sporting Partnership, Cockshut Lane, Melbourne, Derbyshire, DE73 8DG.

Football Kit:

All children are required to wear shin pads and socks that cover the shin pads and moulded football boots only (as a general rule anything that is sold as a ‘firm ground’ boot with “FG” normally in the description). This is important as we are not allowed to use flat soled trainers, blades or other shoes on the artificial pitch.

Another important thing to remember is to ensure your child wear’s appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. We also ask that all children have a drink to keep hydrated during the session. Please ask should you require any help with appropriate kit.

Note - The Playing Area is reserved for Players and Coaches only. Please refrain from entering the AGP surface. This is to ensure the playing area is a safe environment for all players and to protect the playing surface. Parents are welcome to help out the coaches on a Saturday morning and if you would like to support with the session’s please let me know.
